Merchandise Processing Associate

About the role

The Merchandise Processing Associate position at Savers / Value Village is responsible for processing donations received at our thrift stores. This includes sorting, pricing, and preparing items for sale.

Responsibilities

• Sort and organize donated items into categories suitable for resale.
• Pricing items accurately based on condition and market value.
• Prepare items for display and sale in the store.
• Communicate effectively with donors and other team members.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $17.15 to $22.60 per hour, depending on job duty/position.
