About the role

The Merchandise Processing Associate plays a crucial role in creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This position supports the mission of Thrift Proud by processing donations and ensuring the store's merchandise is ready for sale.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process donations of gently-used clothing, accessories, and household goods
• Sort, clean, and prepare donated items for resale
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming and organized store environment
• Communicate effectively with donors and customers to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Positive attitude and customer service orientation
