About the role

The Merchandise Processing Associate plays a crucial role in creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This position supports the mission of Savers / Value Village, which champions reuse and inspires a future where secondhand is second nature.

Responsibilities

• Process donations of gently-used clothing, accessories, and household goods
• Sort, clean, and prepare merchandise for resale
• Handle returns and exchanges according to company policy
• Ensure all merchandise meets quality standards
• Communicate effectively with donors and other team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong organizational skills
• Positive attitude and customer service orientation

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or related field preferred
• Knowledge of basic computer operations
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
