About the role

The Merchandise Operations Associate supports the daily operations of merchandise including processing, placement, maintenance, and fulfillment under the leadership of the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor/Manager.

• Demonstrates comfort in flexing all communication styles and establishes positive interpersonal relationships.
• Evaluates progress against key performance drivers and assesses organizational opportunities and risks.
• Drives positive outcomes through objectives and measures while monitoring progress and results.
• Consistently generates and shares original ideas, tackling both simple and complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise, placement, and presentation of merchandise on the selling floor.
• Follow direction in maintaining standards in placement and presentation.
• Participate in other store projects, including filling in merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
• Locate requested merchandise within the store and complete orders placed by the customer.
• Provide excellent customer service and act quickly to address customers' needs.
• Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle racks and carts of merchandise; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Retain merchandising standards on the floor in compliance with Visual standards.
• Must have computer skills and ability to use available technology (RF guns, PC, iOS device, Excel/Word, and several proprietary platforms).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule following business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed in accordance with your state Driver’s License standards (select locations only).

Pay

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range ($17.05 - $21.32) reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
