About the role

The Merchandise Manager is responsible for overseeing the merchandise operations at Live Nation venues, ensuring a seamless experience for both artists and fans.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Artist/Tour Representatives to advance product lines for upcoming events
• Develop Merchandise Specialist schedules based on event projections
• Oversee inventory count-in and count-out procedures
• Support successful sales operations by training, mentoring, and motivating Merchandise Specialists
• Maintain merchandise stands and displays to meet or exceed expectations
• Complete pre-show, post-show, and payroll reports in a timely manner
• Communicate with Venue Management and Regional Merchandise Management team
• Ensure team compliance with Live Nation policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Refined communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Guest-centric and able to respond professionally to requests and concerns
• Team-driven and adept at training and mentoring
• Basic business proficiency with an understanding of forecasting and timely reporting
• Experience in event merchandising positions desirable
• Prior experience in customer service or hospitality positions

Requirements

• Able to work for the entire concert day, with shifts up to 15 hours (with breaks)
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift up to a 50-pound box
• Able to work in outdoor environments in potentially extreme temperatures
• Working knowledge of touch-screen based systems
• Legal working age in the state
