Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manage setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring accurate signage and highlighted promotions in line with corporate guidelines for resets and seasonal updates.
• Handle the entire process of opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Help oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring effective performance and excellent customer service.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates, teaching store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Execute the market plan by arranging products and signage according to corporate guidelines, keeping promotional materials updated.
• Ensure execution of the company Inventory Integrity process.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and think creatively.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Essential Job Functions

• Frequently operate cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lb and place/remove items up to a height of 5‑10 ft.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicate with customers face‑to‑face and by telephone, and exchange accurate information with managers and coworkers.
• Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers and retrieving merchandise from the stock room.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and possible overnight shifts and travel.
• Must be able to read and follow email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80 % of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable laws.

Hourly position starting at $19.00.

Schedule
