About the role
Step into a role where no two days are the same, and your impact is felt far beyond your desk. You will:
- Assists the Merchandise Product Developers with the day-to-day operations of a segment of the merchandise assortment.
- Contributes to the overall product development process by coordinating samples, line plans, and artboards for the product development team.
- Prepare and distribute artboards and tech packs to vendors using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Aid in identifying and evaluating key vendors in conjunction with the product development and category teams.
- Ensure data integrity through updating, maintaining various reports, documents, and photo library.
- Review weekly sales reports to identify key drivers and department trends.
- Stay relevant on current market trends, including vendors, materials, art styles, and silhouettes.
Requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress is required.
- Friendly, courteous, service-oriented, professional, outgoing, and detail oriented.
- Ability to establish and maintain a professional atmosphere for employees, clients, and customers.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university with a major in marketing, or Fashion and Textile Merchandising.
- 2+ years of retail experience in an operation or buying environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Ability to work nights and weekends when required, willingness and ability to travel to select events.
