Merchandise Associate

About the role

Responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining store cleanliness, and adhering to operational and merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Model and support exceptional customer service practices for internal and external customers.
• Maintain a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately process transactions, returns, and promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow merchandising procedures, prepare merchandise for sale, and support store recovery.
• Ensure store organization, cleanliness, safety, and participate in shrink reduction efforts.
• Support cross-training in multiple store areas to meet business needs.
• Contribute to a safe environment and participate in safety awareness initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

• Excellent customer service skills and strong communication abilities.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Adaptability to change and ability to respond effectively to unexpected situations.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay

Starting pay range of $15.00 to $15.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
