The Merchandise Associate plays a key role in creating an unforgettable game day experience for fans. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION

• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting fans, identifying their needs, and making personalized sales recommendations.
• Maintain an energetic, positive, and engaging atmosphere for both fans and team members.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems with accuracy and efficiency.
• Present and upsell merchandise by highlighting features, benefits, and promotions.
• Support merchandising standards, including plan-o-gram execution, product placement, and visual displays.
• Aid in store set-up, restocking, cleaning, and maintaining an organized sales floor.
• Participate in inventory management, including counts, accuracy checks, and control procedures.
• Stay informed on current promotions, in-store events, and venue events to better assist fans.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure gift shop/event retail locations are prepared and visually appealing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent communication and sales skills with the ability to engage diverse fan groups.
• Ability to receive and apply feedback to improve performance.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime during events.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in a retail or customer service environment.
• Accuracy in handling cash, POS transactions, and opening/closing procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain standing for long periods.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Availability for 35–40+ hours per week, with flexibility to assist in other areas as needed.
