Merchandise Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in managing the retail operation for the Golf Shop
• Monthly inventory count
• Greets guests upon arrival into the Golf Shop
• Prepares all merchandise for the floor
• Affords assistance in creating/receiving Purchase Orders
• Affords assistance in maintaining the golf shop cleaning standards
• Maintains a professional appearance

Minimum Qualifications

• High School education or its equivalent
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training

Physical Requirements and Other Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
• Frequent bending, turning, kneeling and stooping
• Computer skills with Point of Sales (POS) systems and Microsoft applications
• Ability to multi-task: answer phones, greet members, answer questions, sell and place special orders
