About the role
We are seeking a top-performing Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team at Mercedes-Benz of Lafayette. Lafayette offers a vibrant community with numerous festivals and a rich Cajun culture.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and co-workers.
- Diagnose and repair various automotive issues.
- Perform routine maintenance checks.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure vehicles are serviced according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in automotive service.
- ASE certification preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Pay
