Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, design, and control projects to meet schedules, budgets, and QA/QC policy constraints.
- Oversee and manage project proposal development through planning, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction.
- Supervise, coordinate, and review work of engineers, technicians, and designers.
- Manage projects, delegate tasks, and engage in project design.
- Promote new business for the company and for your area of expertise.
- Prepare agreements including scope, schedule, work plan, fees, and monitor financial performance of projects.
- Cultivate personal business relationships and seek opportunities for cross-selling to enhance and expand existing client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- Professional Engineer License.
- Minimum of 8 years in the consulting industry developing and managing MEP projects from design through closeout.
- Demonstrated experience in the design and development of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans and specifications.
- Proficient in REVIT and AutoCAD.
- Proficient in using Trane Trace 3D plus for determining heat loads, cooling loads, and energy modeling.
- Effective management of people with the ability to inspire, communicate, support, and mentor.
- Strong ability to identify and navigate applicable codes, regulations, standards, and engineering best practices.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
