8 + years of preconstruction or commercial construction experience with 5+ years of relevant MEP preconstruction / estimating experience
Bachelor of Science in Construction Science, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Project experience includes Commercial (Office Buildings, Hotels, Religious, Life Science, Mission Critical, and Health-Care Facilities) and Industrial (Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing/Assembly Facilities)
Ability to Work Effectively in an Integrated Design / Build Environment
Supply-Chain Knowledge (purchasing of MEP equipment from suppliers)
Interest in Future MEP Technologies

A Detail-Oriented Team Player
Experienced in providing MEP, FP, and LV bid packages
Experienced in identifying risk items in the MEP, FP, and LV scopes of work
Individual who can independently prepare budget MEP, FP, and LV cost estimates based on incomplete documents
Individual who can identify and solicit work from qualified minority subcontractors/vendors
Experienced in establishing and maintaining relationships with MEP, FP, and LV subcontractors and vendors
Individual who can independently receive and scope MEP, FP, or LV bids in values up to $30M
Individual who can identify and lead MEP, FP, and LV cost savings efforts through value engineering
Individual who can participate in project pursuit interviews
Individual who has a complete understanding of the design process (whether 3rd party or integrated design / build)
Individual who has complete understanding of Owner contracts and the obligations contained within them
Individual who has complete understanding of Beck subcontracts and purchase orders and the obligations contained within them
Experienced in effective management of client relationships
Individual who can identify customer's needs and understand their culture
Individual who can promote community involvement among team members and participate in community service
Individual who actively participates in an industry professional organizations
Individual who can oversee and direct the work of their direct reports

Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity equipment
Frequently ascends/descends ladders and stairs
Constantly works in various outdoor weather conditions
Frequently moves equipment up to 50Ibs to various locations on site
Constantly communicates with subcontractors, vendors, and other members of project team
Able to constantly move around job site on uneven surfaces
Spend much of the day standing
Able to adhere to consistent and timely attendance
