MEP Engineering - Project Manager
Qualifications
A licensed professional engineer (Mechanical or Electrical), with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the management of multi-discipline projects, including coordination with internal and external architects/engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. Supervisory experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Execution of MEP based projects to BL’s expectations for quality, schedule, and profitability
- Plan, coordinate, communicate, and facilitate the completion of tasks across multiple disciplines on projects of all sizes from conception through completion
- Coordination with external clients and subconsultants
- Participate in business development and proposal process as well as contract negotiations
- Monitor and report to department manager the status of projects, budgets, and work backlog
- Manage a team of multiple staff including designers and/or engineers, providing mentorship and ensuring billable targets are met
- Recruit, develop and retain staff in support of the company's strategic growth plan
Requirements
This position can be based in our any of the following BL locations: Meriden, Hartford, Charlotte, or Wilmington.
