MEP Engineer

About The Role

We’re hiring a MEP Engineer to help us build out new spaces and keep our office, lab, and production spaces running smoothly day to day. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes fixing things, building things, and solving problems on the spot.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate construction and install projects from ideation to delivery and operation (furniture, shelving, process piping, electrical/mechanical work, cabling, etc.)
• Perform and coordinate day-to-day facilities maintenance and repairs across office, lab, and production areas
• Troubleshoot and fix issues with building systems, equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure
• Support lab and R&D teams with equipment moves, setups, and facility needs
• Cookordinate and escort vendors and contractors when specialized work is required
• Spot problems early and fix or escalate them before they become bigger issues
• Help keep facilities safe, organized, and operational
• Pitch in on one-off projects and urgent fixes as they come up

Requirements

• BS degree in one of the following: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector that were ground-up and/or retrofit projects
• Familiar with basic safety practices and facility compliance requirements
• Experience working with HVAC, MEP systems, or process equipment
• Experience with preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Experience with working in an active lab or light industrial environment
• Able to travel (up to 50%) to various work sites

• Experience in semiconductor, hardware, lab, or manufacturing environments
• Experience supporting fast-growing or startup teams
• Experience working with HVAC, MEP systems, or process equipment
