About the role
CMTA (formerly AMA Group), a Legence Company, is one of the fastest-growing engineering firms in the U.S., known for sustainable, high-performance building systems and complex MEP/FP delivery. Through AMA's design expertise in media, broadcast, and production facilities—and CMTA's national portfolio in education, healthcare, and zero-energy projects—we pair deep technical craft with an innovative, collaborative culture that accelerates careers.
CMTA is seeking an experienced MEP Construction Project Manager for our offices in New York City and New Jersey. This role will help expand our Project Management Department to support a growing list of clients, including NBC Universal, Disney, NBC Sports, and A+E Networks. CMTA specializes in MEP and critical infrastructure projects such as data centers, base building electrical and mechanical upgrades, electrical utility services, solar projects, broadcast studios, and various interior alteration projects. Projects span multiple states including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Washington DC, Florida, and California, so some out-of-state travel may be required. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives and will represent CMTA to ensure the highest levels of project execution.
Established in 2004, CMTA (formerly AMA Group) is a full-service construction management company that evolved from its parent company CMTA, a leader in the design of MEP/FP building systems for media, broadcast, and production facilities including sound stage campuses. CMTA has completed over 1,000 projects across corporate, financial, educational, and residential sectors. In 2024, AMA Group was acquired by Legence (Nasdaq: LGN), a Blackstone portfolio company with 9,000+ employees, enhancing national reach across markets and sectors.
