MEP BIM Coordinator (BIM/VDC)

Air Group, LLC is a family-owned leader in HVAC, electrical and plumbing services with over 525 employees. We are seeking a talented MEP BIM Coordinator (BIM/VDC) to join our state-of-the-art Digital Engineering Studio.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC BIM/VDC coordination
• Autodesk/Revit accreditation or completion of an accredited CAM/BIM program
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings across multiple disciplines
• Knowledge of MEP systems, sheet metal and piping layout
• Experience with Navisworks clash detection and reporting
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

What You Will Be Doing

• Create and manage detailed MEP BIM models and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
• Coordinate with engineers, designers and field teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Review and resolve clashes in coordination with other trades
• Coordinate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-builts for field installation
• Ensure compliance with design standards, tolerances and specifications
• Assist in training and mentoring junior designers/draftsmen
• Provide technical support to field teams to ensure smooth project delivery
