Responsibilities
- Support management of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scopes on large-scale data center construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning
- Afford assistance with coordination of design development, constructability reviews, and BIM/clash detection processes
- Oversee oversight of critical systems installation including power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling systems, fire protection, and BMS/EPMS
- Manage MEP schedules, phasing plans, and sequencing to align with project milestones
- Assist in subcontractor procurement, scope reviews, contract administration, and performance tracking
- Support QA/QC processes, inspections, and compliance with mission-critical standards and specifications
- Track budgets, cost reports, change management, and documentation for MEP scopes
- Participate in commissioning planning, functional testing, and integrated systems testing activities
- Afford support for closeout activities including O&M manuals, as-builts, attic stock, warranties, and turnover documentation
- Coordinate with field teams, superintendents, design consultants, commissioning agents, and owner representatives
- Support safety compliance, site logistics planning, and workface coordination
- Maintain project documentation, logs, reporting, and MEP deliverables tracking
- Proactively identify issues and support risk mitigation planning
- Contribute to preconstruction efforts including budgeting support, constructability input, and trade engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience managing MEP scopes on complex commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects (data centers strongly preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of electrical distribution systems, mechanical cooling infrastructure, and mission-critical redundancy architectures
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-reliability environments
