The Veteran Project Manager Mentor Alliance (VPMMA) invites you to join our 100% volunteer-driven mission to guide military service members, veterans, and their spouses toward career excellence.

About the role

We offer flexible, remote pro bono opportunities designed to fit your professional schedule.

Responsibilities

• Forge a dedicated partnership over approximately six months, providing bespoke advice and actionable feedback to help a mentee achieve specific career milestones.
• Facilitate dynamic group sessions or serve on panels, fostering a community of shared learning through monthly themes relevant to veteran transitions.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert by responding to specific mentee inquiries via email and providing timely insights when needed most.

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Access to a computer/internet
• Two professional references

• Passionate professionals who believe in the transformative power of mentorship
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with diverse groups
• Experience in coaching or training and a deep respect for the unique challenges faced by the military community
• Proficiency in digital collaboration tools and commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards
