About the role

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) founded in 1978, serving diverse communities, particularly Latinos in Washington State. We are a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and group counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment planning.
• Works with medication providers, primary care physicians, and community agencies.
• Accurately diagnoses mental health issues and develops treatment plans based on diagnoses.
• Willingness to work some later hours and sometimes meet clients outside the office.
• Supports the agency in ensuring compliance with WACs, RCWs, and clinical contracts.
• Assists the Program Manager in program development, policy and procedure development, and compliance with WACs and RCWs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work with coursework in psychological diagnostics.
• Four or more years of clinical experience in the field.
• Active, approved license from the Washington State Department of Health.
• Mental Health Professional (MHP) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
• Current TB test.

Qualifications

• For Licensed Mental Health Therapist: Must hold a Master’s degree and four or more years of clinical experience.
• For MHT III: Must hold a Master’s degree, four or more years of experience, and an active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License or mental health Associate License.
• For MHT II: Must hold a Master’s degree, up to three years of experience, and a mental health Associate License.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $36.41

Schedule

Full-time position available for our Anacortes Behavioral Health Department. The MHT will also provide services in Oak Harbor, WA. Hours may vary depending on the needs of the department.
