Fred Finch Specialized Wraparound is a family-centered, community-based program that provides highly individualized mental health and behavioral services for youth and families in San Diego & Imperial Counties (through San Diego Regional Center). The program is designed to address behavioral challenges that impact a youth’s ability to thrive in natural home environments and form healthy, lasting relationships. Specialized Wraparound takes a strength-based, comprehensive approach, collaborating closely with families to address challenges related to caregiving and to foster sustainable safety, resiliency, and stability at home and in the community. The program works with families to enhance their ability to implement mental health and behavioral strategies, offering: Modeling and Coaching: Guidance and practical support to help caregivers and youth achieve treatment goals; Advocacy Skills Development: Assisting families in navigating systems, activating resources, and building long-term supports; Enhanced Supports: Connecting families with academic, community-based, and natural supports to generalize success across multiple settings.
