Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapeutic interventions to children and their families, including assessing treatment needs, developing and reviewing treatment plans, and determining discharge criteria in an outpatient setting.
- Complete and maintain required intake forms, documentation, and discharge planning by specified dates.
- Maintain outcome measures for the effectiveness of treatment.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or another applicable human services degree.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish/Haitian) is a plus, but not required.
- Valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Licensed or registered intern under Florida Statutes 490 or 491 and two years of experience in working with children and families.
- For licensed positions: Active and clear State of Florida License - LCSW, LMHC, LMFT.
Qualifications
- Experience in providing mental health services to children and families.
- Successful completion of all criminal background checks.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of clinical practices and therapeutic techniques.
