Mental Health Therapist
About the role
This is a 40 hour/week, fully remote position supporting patients 13 years and older. Ideal candidates must be licensed as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, D.C., and willing to obtain additional state licenses.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychosocial support and education to address the mental wellbeing of individuals, couples/families ages 13+
- Utilize evidence-based methodologies such as motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy
- Collaborate with the clinical care team to ensure continuity of care
- Engage in crisis intervention as needed
- Support the practice of licensed clinical therapists within the Minute Clinic team
Requirements
- Current, active, and unencumbered State License as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania, Maryland, or Washington D.C.
- Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills
- Experience with or willingness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery
- Understanding of insurance, Medicaid, Medicare billing requirements
- Completed Master’s degree program from an accredited College or University

- Deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using electronic health record systems and engaging on multiple platforms

The typical pay range for this role is $29.10 - $74.78. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
