Position Summary
The Mental Health Clinician provides comprehensive clinical services to kids in the community and in offices that have MH and SU issues.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and family sessions
- Facilitate therapeutic groups
- Congratulate care with prescribers and case managers
- Participate in treatment team meetings
- Integrate evidence-based practices-including CBT, DBT-informed approaches, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention-to address emotional regulation, substance use, and behavioral challenges
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
- Active NJ LSW/LCSW license
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents with significant emotional, behavioral, or substance use challenges
- This position requires to drive a company vehicle
- Some evening work is required
- Demonstrated expertise in group facilitation and crisis prevention/management
- Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills
- Some evening work is required
- Flexible, compassionate, and able to "meet people where they are"
