Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor - Virginia

About the Role

Lyra Clinical Associates is seeking independently licensed clinical therapists to join our provider network, offering culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, adults, couples, and families. This opportunity is ideal for clinicians experienced in managing a diverse caseload, from milder to more complex mental health needs, with a strong preference for in-person care delivery in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based treatments (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT) and adhere to clinical best practices (e.g., measurement-based care, skills practice)
• Manage risk and respond to clinical crises as needed
• Work with clients in designated Virginia locations: Onley, Marion, Lebanon, Midlothian, Radford, and Dumfries

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, PsyD)
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license (able to work independently)
• Experience providing evidence-based treatments and clinical best practices
• Ability to provide care to children, adults, couples, and/or families, with a preference for in-person care
• Office space in the Virginia area to see clients
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
