About the role

We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join our Linkages to Learning team in the School-Based Services department at Parkland Magnet Middle School. The role involves providing comprehensive clinical services, leading therapy sessions, and collaborating with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling
• Conduct classroom observations and attend school and parent/guardian meetings
• Mentor and support students and families
• Develop and implement group curriculums and workshops
• Collaborate with school and community partners
• Ensure compliance with contracts, grants, and position expectations
• Participate in clinical supervision and group consultations
• Adhere to ethical principles and maintain confidentiality

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a mental health field
• Advanced or independent (LC) clinical license in Maryland
• Experience in school-based mental health services
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency preferred

Schedule

Core business hours between 9-5pm, M-F. Some flexibility with schedule may be available (evening and/or weekend hours).
