Mental Health Technician (On Call/PRN) - Day and Night shifts

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Technicians to join our team. You will play a vital role in providing direct, life-changing care to patients, working closely with our nursing and clinical teams to maintain a safe, supportive environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direct, compassionate care to patients with mental health conditionsMonitor patient behavior, listen to concerns, and accurately document changes in health or moodSafely assist patients through behavioral escalations utilizing de-escalation techniquesMaintain a healthy, structured, and safe physical environment for patients and staffCommunicate information regarding patients' behavior to other members of treatment teamEncourages and facilitates patients' participation in therapeutic activitiesOrient new patients to facility, program, and settingDay shift (7:00am-7:30pm) and Night shift (7:00pm-7:30am) available Requirements High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum six (6) months of experience in a behavioral health or acute hospital preferredPrevious experience working with special needs/autism experience preferredCurrent BLS/CPR certification required (or willing to obtain upon hire)Strong observational skills, physical stamina, and a patient, judgment-free demeanorAbility to maintain professional boundariesFour (4) shifts per month required with availability for up to 8 shifts per month (including 2 weekend shifts and a holiday rotation)Availability submitted 4 weeks ahead, in time for the schedule build. Shifts assigned by Staffing based on business need (not self-selected; hours not guaranteed)Commitment is on-call for same day call offs and 1:1's Benefits 401K Retirement Plan
