Mental Health Technician - Dothan - Crisis Residential Unit

Duties

• Variety of activities to meet consumer needs including meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
• Teaching group and individual basic living skills
• Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
• Ensuring efficient operation of the facility
• Aiding with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
• Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 21 years old
• Good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Willingness to submit to a motor vehicle report check
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Ability to obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
• Previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment preferred
