Mental Health Tech- Night Shift (Full-Time or Part-Time) - MidCity

Key Responsibilities

• Aid patients with daily living activities and personal care
• Support patients in managing emotions and behaviors safely
• Observe, document, and report patient behaviors and progress
• Facilitate or assist with therapeutic activities and group sessions
• Respond to crisis situations using verbal de-escalation and safety protocols
• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, and clinicians to ensure quality care

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• An associate degree or mental health training preferred
• Prior experience in behavioral health, residential care, or related field (optional)
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively with a diverse population
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused inpatient environment
• CPR and MOAB certification preferred or willing to obtain (optional)
