Mental Health Specialist

About the role

At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do. We are seeking a Mental Health Worker to join our team at our program in Monaca, PA, supporting Beaver County.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation, support, and direct care services to individuals with mental health and behavioral health needs, including assistance with daily living activities and therapeutic interventions.
• Implement treatment plans under clinical supervision, including substance use services, education, family consultation, and crisis intervention support as needed.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, social service agencies, and community partners to coordinate comprehensive care and support positive outcomes.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals served by following established policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Participate in treatment planning and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to support recovery and treatment goals.
• Conduct Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) services, including at least three home visits a week, and provide transportation using personal vehicles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a human service field.
• 1 year of experience working with individuals in a recovery setting and/or crisis experience.
• Valid PA Driver’s License.

Pay

$21.27 an hour + mileage reimbursement
