About the role

This position will work within a 24/7 Residential Crisis Stabilization (RCS) and Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) team to implement treatment plans and services that enable the service recipient to develop and enhance psychiatric stability, personal and emotional adjustment and independent living and community skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the provision of health services, medication administration, and medication storage for people receiving services through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Review and approve health service and medication policies and procedures.
  • Provide monitoring, health services training, and support to staff.

Requirements

  • Pass a post-offer background and MVR check.
  • A valid driver’s license with no restrictions.

Qualifications

  • Current Minnesota RN license with a preference given to candidates with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience working with people with various disabilities.
  • One of the following Mental Health Practitioner qualification requirements:
  • At least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related field and 2000 hours of experience with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, traumatic brain injury, or developmental disabilities;
  • At least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related field and have completed a practicum or internship that focused on behavioral sciences or related field that required direct interaction with individuals served;
  • At least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related field and have completed a practicum or internship that focused on behavioral sciences or related field that required direct interaction with individuals served;
  • At least 4000 hours of experience in the delivery of services to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, traumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities and receive treatment supervision at least once per week until obtaining 4000 hours of experience;
  • At least 2000 hours of experience providing services to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, traumatic brain injury, or developmental disabilities and receive treatment supervision at least once per week until obtaining 4000 hours of experience.

Pay

Salary: $38.00-$40.00/hr.

Schedule

This position is scheduled for 20 hours per week, with shifts occurring Monday through Friday. Flexibility in scheduling is required to support program operations and meet the needs of service recipients and staff.
