About the role
Geode Health is a rapidly growing, national provider of outpatient mental health services with a mission to “Transform mental health by making it more accessible, affordable and effective.” We are seeking passionate Advanced Practice Providers (Psychiatric PA or PMHNP) in the greater Wauwatosa market to partner with us in achieving this mission.
As a Behavioral Health Provider, you will deliver psychiatric healthcare services, including initial mental health evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy based on patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial mental health evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide medication management
- Deliver supportive psychotherapy as clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records using an EMR system
- Manage a general spectrum of mental health conditions
Requirements
- Active Psychiatric PA or PMHNP license in the state of Wisconsin
- Active DEA license
- Passion for high-quality care
- Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
- Proficiency in using an EMR system
- Desire and ability to treat a broad range of mental health conditions
Geode highly prefers candidates with over one year of professional experience in an Advanced Practice Provider role, particularly in an outpatient setting.
