Mental Health Provider (Psychiatric PA or NP) - Rockwall

Our mission is to “Transform mental health by making it more accessible, affordable and effective.” We are actively recruiting passionate Advance Practice Providers (Psychiatric PA or PMHNP) in the greater Dallas‑Fort Worth market to join our team and help achieve that mission.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial mental health evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management as clinically appropriate.
• Offer supportive psychotherapy based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and mental health therapists to coordinate medication management and psychotherapy.
• Utilize a measurement‑based care approach to track outcomes and inform care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date electronic health records using an EMR system.

Requirements

• Active Psychiatric PA or PMHNP license in the state of Texas.
• Active DEA license.
• At least one year of professional work experience for Psychiatric PAs (Geode prefers APPs with >1 year experience in an outpatient setting).
• Passion for high‑quality care.
• Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and accurate documentation.
• Ability and desire to treat a broad spectrum of mental health conditions.

Schedule

• No nights, weekends, or on‑call responsibilities.
• Hybrid work model: typically three days onsite and two days telehealth, with the option for a four‑day work week.
• After‑hours urgent support available to maintain work‑life balance.
