About the role
Thrive Therapy is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our outpatient therapy team. The candidate must be able to work on-site and complete supervisor and clinical service hours as needed. This position is on a per-diem basis to start and will transition to a full-time, salaried position based on program growth.
Reports to: Clinical Director (Clinical Supervisor = Supervising Psychiatrist). Supervises: Mental Health Workers (MHW), if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Assess clients and develop comprehensive psychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
- Provide individual, caregiver, and group therapy sessions.
- Provide supervision to assigned Mental Health Workers (MHW).
- Initiate crisis intervention and case management measures as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records.
- Coordinate with community resources and services.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Licensed to practice within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania OR internship/practicum experience as part of Master's Program.
- At least 2 years of experience providing mental health treatment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of community resources and social services.
- Background check in accordance with state and federal regulations: State Criminal Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Clearance.
- NPI Query and current driver’s license.
- Participation in and completion of all CBH mandatory in-services.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency and the ability to provide telehealth.
Pay
Starting at $73K (Salary) / Starting at $37/Hour (Per Diem).
