Responsibilities

  • Review Washington Administrative Codes (WACs), CARF standards, Revised Codes (RCWs), and Federal regulations pertaining to behavioral health treatment to ensure compliance in all therapeutic services.
  • Work with patients (ages 5–12) and guardians to develop strength-based individual service plans that meet their unique needs in compliance with WAC-246-341.
  • Provide individual therapy and case management services in accordance with the individual service plan and evaluation recommendations.
  • Work as part of a treatment team.
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date clinical files documenting all services and contacts, consistent with WAC-246-341 requirements.
  • Support and implement agency policies and procedures.
  • Represent the agency in the community at meetings and clinical reviews with supervisor approval.
  • Be available on-call to ensure continuity of care for agency patients as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or further advanced degree in counseling or a social science from an accredited college or university.
  • Meet the requirements of a mental health professional as defined in WAC-246-341.
  • Qualify as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) and obtain a WA State Credential to practice prior to starting the position.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children who have a mental health condition (preferred).
  • Current unencumbered driver license and proof of current car insurance.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attendance record.
  • Ability to work well with others.

Pay

$26.31 – $36.23 per hour, depending on experience.

New hire bonus: $5,000.
