Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of co-occurring mental health needs of patients, including those with mental health and substance use disorder diagnoses.
- Conduct individual and group therapy using evidence-based intervention strategies and best practices.
- Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team, including crisis intervention and supervision of unlicensed mental health staff.
- Develop ongoing care plans and ensure proper identification of mental health and substance use concerns, as well as barriers to recovery.
- Provide mental health consultation and education to patients, customers, and staff regarding the dynamics of mental health issues in recovery.
- Facilitate crisis intervention to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients.
- Seek and receive consultation from others to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Required: Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field.
- Fully licensed in the state of practice as a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or similar.
- Minimum of 2 years freedom from substance use problems.
- Current CPR Card (or obtain within 30 days of hire); certification must be from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Individual National Provider Identification (NPI) number.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Twelve Step treatment approaches and stages of recovery.
- Preferred: Knowledge/training in addiction studies.
- Preferred: Willingness to be licensed in other states.
- Preferred: Spanish fluency.

Pay
Salary range: USD $81,088.00 - USD $108,126.00 per year.
