Mental Health Practitioner - Weekend Shifts

Responsibilities

• Assess the strengths, and needs of clients upon admission.
• Aid the clients with independent living skills including shopping, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
• Monitor and document physical and emotional status.
• Maintain medication compliance and report any side effects.
• Facilitate residential program activities, classes, and groups.
• Accurately complete treatment plans, shift notes, admission and discharge paperwork, and financial forms.
• Respond appropriately to all crises and utilize verbal and non-verbal techniques with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• One year (2000 hours) of experience working with adults with severe mental illness and/or chemical dependency.
• Must qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner in the state of MN.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly pay range: $25.11 - $30.13.
• Compensation based on years of experience.
