Collaborate with your direct supervisor to manage the program and facility, ensuring a safe, secure, and therapeutic treatment environment. Oversee milieu staff, promote a positive work culture, and maintain compliance with internal quality care, state licensing, and Joint Commission accreditation standards.
Responsibilities
- Assign tasks related to the admission and intake process to milieu staff.
- Support the patient discharge process and assign duties to milieu staff as necessary.
- Take notes during treatment team meetings regarding patient care and facility needs, and publish these for staff review.
- Facilitate weekly Community Meetings and other psychoeducational groups as needed.
- Provide oversight of groups led by milieu staff and assist as needed.
- Ensure adherence by the entire staff to the program schedule.
- Manage patient charts and complete audits in a timely manner.
- Oversee the entire hiring process of milieu staff, collaborating with the Executive Director and Human Resources to ensure efficient and adequate staffing.
- Train all new milieu staff within your scope and coordinate training with clinical team members as appropriate.
- Manage milieu employees' schedules to ensure all shifts are covered and staff are not incurring overtime hours.
- Oversee the timekeeping system to ensure timely submission of timecards to payroll and report any errors or corrections.
- Cover milieu shifts when needed.
- Serve as the Infection Control Officer and ensure staff adherence to Infection Control Protocols.
- Sit at a meal and/or snack with patients at least once per week.
- Maintain inventory of household and office supplies to ensure the facility is appropriately stocked.
- Monitor the budget to ensure the program stays within OpEx budgets.
- Maintain the facility and provide weekly feedback to the home office regarding any environment of care issues.
- Maintain the facility vehicle.
- Perform or assign emergency drills and ensure appropriate documentation is completed and submitted.
- Coordinate and communicate weekly community outings for approved patients.
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation alternating with team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or three years of experience working within the mental health field, required.
- One year of management experience, preferred.
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday.
- On-site in Granite Bay, CA.
Pay
Pay range: $70,304 – $75,000.
