Job Summary
The Registered Nurse at Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care, working collaboratively with medical providers and other members of the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.
Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

What You Will Do in This Role
Assesses patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled and/or as needed, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
Responds promptly to patient requests.
Strives to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.
Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes and supports recovery.
Serves as the interface between healthcare providers and community support systems who coordinate ongoing care needs for specialized patient groups.
