Mental Health Counselor - School Program

Seeking a Mental Health Therapist II for a school-based role, partnering with clinical and educational teams to promote student wellness. Responsibilities include conducting mental health and substance use assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual, group, and family therapy, crisis intervention, risk assessments, education, and case management. The role involves offering support, consultation, and guidance to school staff and providing education on mental health topics. Qualifications Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related health fieldAlaska Licenses: Masters Social Worker, Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor (upon hire)At least 5 years of clinical experience Skills & Attributes include: clinical expertise, strong communication, crisis management, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. This is a full-time, on-site position during standard school hours, with a 10-month work schedule. The pay range is $40.11 - $62.27 hourly, with potential additional compensation options.
