Mental Health Counselor (LMSW, MHC-LP)

About the role

New Pathways Counseling Center is an IN-NETWORK group psychotherapy practice serving the Park Slope area since 1992. We now offer telehealth services and are seeking fee-for-service psychotherapist positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy sessions for low-risk adults and couples.
• Offer service either 1 evening or 1 weekend day per week, or 20+ client hours weekly.
• Participate in weekly group supervision and administrative support.
• Receive individual supervision as needed.
• Specialize in areas such as Anxiety & Depression, Employment related issues, and LGBTQIA2+.

Requirements

• At least 10 available client hours per week.
• Hold a Licensed Master Social Worker credential or a Limited Permit for Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family.
• Be open to working with low-risk adults and couples.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate seeking to build clinical experience and meet required supervisory hours.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

$35 - $42.50 per session.
