Mental Health Clinician & Mental Health Specialist (Two Positions)

About the role

The City of Culver City, CA is seeking two Mental Health Clinicians and Mental Health Specialists to join its Mobile Crisis Team (MCT). These roles offer direct impact in supporting individuals experiencing mental health crises, substance use challenges, homelessness, and housing instability through community-based outreach, crisis intervention, and supportive services.

• Help connect individuals to critical resources, housing opportunities, and pathways to stability

Requirements

• Passion for serving vulnerable populations
• Experience in mental health and/or substance use services
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
• Master's degree preferred
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Clinician or Mental Health Specialist in California
• Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health crises, substance use challenges, homelessness, and housing instability

Benefits

• An annual salary of $130,582 - $159,389 DOE/DOQ (Mental Health Clinician)
