Mental Health Clinician

About the role

The role is dedicated to providing support and services to foster youth and adoptive families. This includes facilitating therapeutic visits, offering mental health services, and coordinating care plans.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate therapeutic visits between foster youth and their birth families or adoptive parents.
• Provide mental health services to foster youth and adoptive families as needed.
• Care coordination: Coordinate care plans and ensure all parties are informed and aligned on the youth’s needs.
• Collaborate with other service providers to enhance the quality of care provided.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in foster care or adoption services.
• Valid California Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.
• Experience working with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$50-$60 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, with some evening and weekend availability required.
