Mental Health Clinical Therapist II - Days

Position: MH Clinical Therapist II Location: LOMG Addison, IL Role Overview: Conduct psychosocial assessments, develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, and provide individual, couples, and family counseling using various modalities. Collaborate with clinical teams, coordinate care with referral sources, and maintain accurate medical records. Inform physicians about client progress and facilitate transitions to higher levels of care when needed. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of community resources and adhere to all relevant procedures and legislation in mental health and substance abuse settings. Qualifications & Skills: Master's degree in a recognized mental health field, current Illinois licensure (e.g., LCPC, LCSW, LMFT), CPR certification, knowledge of developmental psychology and clinical needs, confidentiality, effective communication, and self-control in volatile situations. Preferred: minimum of two years of behavioral health experience. Key Duties: Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide counseling, participate in team meetings, inform medical staff of client progress, coordinate community resource referrals, and ensure proper documentation.
