About the role

Handspring is a mission-driven, early-stage healthcare organization seeking a full-time Clinical Supervisor to join their team. The Clinical Supervisor will oversee and support a team of therapists providing evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and provision of clinical supervision to therapists
  • Conducting regular individual consultation sessions to ensure high-quality care and professional development
  • Facilitating group case consultations and leading team meetings to promote collaborative problem-solving and knowledge sharing
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on clinical documentation to maintain best practices
  • Ensuring therapists' compliance with safety protocols, documentation requirements, and ethical standards
  • Providing on-call risk consultation during daytime and evening clinic hours for complex or crisis situations
  • Mentoring and supporting therapists in their professional growth
  • Participating in quality assurance efforts, including regular chart audits and outcome measurements
  • Collaborating with the clinical leadership team to develop and implement new evidence-based treatment approaches and programs

Requirements

  • Licensed mental health professional with at least 10 years post-license experience providing psychotherapy, including 6+ years specifically in pediatric mental health
  • Active, unrestricted clinical license (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD)
  • Experience with supervision and risk management in pediatric outpatient settings
  • Extensive knowledge of CBT. Experience with other evidence-based models, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and/or behavioral parenting support & training is a plus
  • Experience supporting therapists in assessing and managing mild to moderate risk
  • Experience treating children, adolescents, and/or young adults with a range of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, behavioral challenges, and other diagnoses of childhood and adolescence

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently with an interest in collaboration and learning
  • Comfort with using and learning new technologies, including Zoom, Office, electronic health record systems, and other team collaboration tools
