Mental Health Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Be proud of rewarding work helping people grow, learn, and live well
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
• Experience ownership and trust from your leaders to do what’s right for participants
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
• Assist people with their personal hygiene
• Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs

Requirements

• Must have 3+ years experience working in the group home setting
• Schedule: Float Position - Varies hours (32 Hours- 40 Hours per week)
• Must be available for overnights (awake and asleep), morning, weekend hours and evenings as needed
• Must be willing to be flexible to schedule changes and willing to work in variety of settings ranging from Bloomington, MN to Maple Grove, MN

Qualifications

• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
