Mental Health Associate - Behavioral Health
About the role
The Associate-Mental Health (MHA) provides patient care under the direct supervision of the RN, with indirect supervision of mental health skills by an employed Mental Health Professional. They observe and report on patient conditions, changes, and collaborate with the treatment team in developing treatment plans. They are sensitive to the needs of these patients and alert care team leaders of any changes in their status.
Responsibilities
- Provides hospital level and focused patient care, support, and milieu management for patients with behavioral health conditions and illnesses.

- Sensitive to the needs of these patients and alerts care team leaders of a change in status of the patients on the inpatient psychiatric unit.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Social Work, or related behavioral health field.
- Or Equivalent experience of 3-years in a mix of Residential Inpatient, Psych Outpatient, or any Acute Settings (does not need to be behavioral health).
Qualifications
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 3 years Either Bachelors Degree or 3-years of mixed experience (see above).

Pay
$22.44 - $34.33 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
