Part-Time

Job Functions

• Provide or assist with hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, shaving, oral care, ear and nail care, and toileting residents according to their plan or service.
• Complete daily programs and documentation.
• Act as an advocate for the rights of the person served, following all treatment plans outlined in the Plan of Service.
• Report any abuse or neglect immediately.
• Assist with medical appointments and document accordingly.
• Assist with shopping and maintain accuracy with petty cash.
• Absorb person served on outings and document outings as needed.
• Sign all logs and service charts daily.
• Communicate with support service personnel and parents/guardians.
• Use gentle teaching methods and stay calm and professional at all times.

Requirements

• Able to pass competency test
• High School Diploma or GED
• Over 18 years of age
• Good physical health, able to pass physical and T.B. skin test
• Three references
• Capable of meeting the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of each resident
• Competent in reporting requirements, first aid, CPR, personal care, supervision, protection, resident rights, safety & fire prevention, and prevention & containment of communicable diseases

Qualifications

• Pass a competency test
• High School Diploma or GED
• Over 18 years of age
• Good physical health, able to pass physical and T.B. skin test
• Three references
• Capable of meeting the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of each resident
