Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities.
- Monitor patient behavior and report changes to mental health professionals.
- Support therapeutic programs and group activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient dignity at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Enforce safety and security protocols to maintain a safe environment.
- Keep accurate records of patient interactions and care.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant training or certification in mental health or substance use (preferred).
- Prior experience in a security role or mental health setting (desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage crises and defuse stressful situations.
- Understanding of principles of mental health, substance use, and recovery.
