Memory Support Activity Assistant - Part-Time

Clearwater Mayo Blvd is a premier luxury senior living community in Phoenix, AZ seeking a part-time Lifestyle Assistant for the Memory Care team on Sundays and Mondays.

About the role

The Memory Support Lifestyle Assistant executes programs and activities for residents based on the Empowered Living philosophy, demonstrating outstanding customer service, genuine care, and alignment with Clearwater Living’s principles and core values.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily activities and special events, including set-up, tear-down, and decorating for holidays or themed programming.
• Assist with surveying residents and making observations and recommendations to determine activity interests.
• Encourage residents to attend and participate in activities.
• Adapt activities for individual needs as a creative thinker.
• Create monthly calendars and participate in activating the monthly newsletter and weekly social media posts.
• Assist with marketing events.
• Work with volunteers, including scheduling, training, and organizing day-to-day assignments.
• Assist with scheduling transportation or driving vehicles as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and report any issues or concerns immediately.
• Comply with Clearwater Living standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient community operations.
• Display a positive and professional image, including adhering to the dress code and wearing a community name tag.
• Represent Clearwater Living’s principles and core values daily.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.

Qualifications

• Ability, licensure, and willingness to drive the community vehicle.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• AA degree preferred or a minimum of two years of work experience in the industry.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Background and criminal record clearances as required by government regulations.
• Must meet health requirements, including TB screening.
